For Medicare patients, particularly new entrants, underutilization of AWVs leads to missed opportunities for health screenings and care planning.

Participating clinics reported a baseline AWV completion rate of 42% among established Medicare patients and 35% for patients new to Medicare within the past 24 months, well below optimal benchmarks.
